Kia Ora, this was a really fun activity, recording how to make a sea soda. When you watch the video you will see I was looking around and that was a noisy family. I hope you like my acting skills from the start to the end.

  1. Kia ora Te Naera,

It’s Charlotte again, a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. I have enjoyed seeing all your blog posts pop up – keep up the great blogging.

I think it is fantastic how you have included two different languages into your video – well done! In answer to your question, your acting was great. The drink you made looks delicious, what is your favourite drink?

This post is great. I think it is awesome how you have gone above and beyond the expectations to include extra effort into your post. I have marked this post as outstanding which means you will get extra points for the Summer Learning Journey!

  2. Kia Ora Te Naera,

It’s Isa here, I am a Year 6 from New Brighton Catholic School. I love how you made the video in Te Reo Māori. I think it is very cool you can translate how to make the ice cream sea soda in Māori, and you demonstrated really well.

How did it taste with food colouring? Did it change the taste? I made mine with blueberry jelly powder and made my soda taste a bit fruitier.

Ka rawe on your mahi! Keep it up.

    From Isa
