Make a Splash – Step it up

Kia Ora, I’m ending with a splash for my last and final Summer Learning Journey activity. So me and my brother made an obstacle course in our front yard, and we used all sorts of things. The challenge you had was to add a water part in the obstacle course, and we did add an water in the video. So one video is to tell how it goes, and the other is the race. And also my little brother is just following us around.

Make a Splash

Kia Ora, you had to make your own water obstacle course in Google Drawings for this activity. I used the template that was provided, I used all the parts from the template duplicated some, and added some of my own, the bridge at the right-hand corner is to get back at shore.

Here’s my water obstacle course:

The Manu Splash

Kia Ora, here is my manu splash, so for this activity we had to do a water head dunk or make a splash using lines in Google Drawing. As you can see below I chose the water head dunk. I told my brother to push my head into the water and let go and as soon I get out of the water you pause the video to my suprised he listen. Anway here’s my Manu Splash.

Pirate Treasure Map

Kia Ora, today I drew a Pirate Treasure Map for this activity. I chose the harder version to draw a treasure map. My island’s name is Skull Island, and the places on that are Deadman’s Lagoon, Creepy Creek, Mount Doom, and Lost Forest the rest is a compass on the left side and a pirate ship on the other side. For a finishing touch, I added some wipes of wet tea bags, crunched it up, and there we go a Treasure Map.

Submarine Fun

Kia Ora, for this activity you had to make a submarine using pen and paper, Google Drawings, or online coloring. I decided to make my submarine on Google Drawings, I used polylines and mostly curved lines and circles, finishing up with some colors and a background.

How do submarines go deeper? and How it gets back up to the surface of the water?.  The submarine goes deeper because, the ballast tanks fill up with water, so the submarine is heavier than it looks. It gets back up to the surface by closing the ballast tank so there is no water inside and that is how they get back up.

Make a Sea Soda

Kia Ora, this was a great activity: making sea soda. It tasted like a spider(ice cream and a fizzy) but with more sea color. My next post will include a video on how to make it.
